Standard Line (Alt + T)

Creates a straight line with three control points:

  • Start point: Controls line origin
  • End point: Sets line termination
  • Middle point: Adjusts positioning precisely

Used for trendlines, support/resistance, and connecting chart points.

Arrow

Functions like a standard line but adds directional emphasis:

  • Includes arrow pointer at endpoint
  • Highlights directional movement
  • Ideal for marking breakouts or trend direction

Ray

Line that extends infinitely in one direction:

  • Has starting point and direction
  • No endpoint (continues to chart edge)
  • Perfect for ongoing trendlines
  • Eliminates need to redraw as chart develops

Horizontal Ray (Alt + Shift + H)

Specialized ray that maintains horizontal orientation:

  • Extends infinitely to the right
  • Maintains consistent price level
  • Excellent for support/resistance levels, targets, and stop levels

Specialized Lines

  • Horizontal Line (Alt + H): Fixed price level with defined endpoints
  • Vertical Line (Alt + V): Fixed time point with defined endpoints
  • Cross Line (Alt + X): Creates intersection of horizontal and vertical lines

Parallel Channel (Alt + Shift + C)

Creates trading channel with parallel boundaries:

  • Two parallel outer lines
  • Optional middle line
  • Adjustable angle and width
  • Configurable to extend infinitely
