Chart Widget
Chart Settings
The Chart widget offers extensive customization options through four main settings tabs: Legend, Scales, Style, and Alerts. Each tab provides specific controls to tailor your chart visualization according to your preferences.
Legend Tab
The Legend tab controls what information is displayed alongside your chart:
Symbol Section
- Logo: Toggle to show/hide the instrument logo
- Full Name: Toggle to display the complete instrument name
- Exchange: Toggle to show the exchange information (enabled by default)
Status Section
- Bar Change Values: Toggle to display price change values for each bar
- OHLC Values: Toggle to show Open, High, Low, Close values (enabled by default)
- Volume: Toggle to display volume information (enabled by default)
Scales Tab
The Scales tab adjusts how price and time information is displayed:
- Scale Type: Dropdown to select scaling method (default: Regular)
- Timezone: Select time display option (default: Exchange Time)
- Overlay Volume Bars: Toggle to show volume bars overlaid on the chart (enabled by default)
- Last Price Label: Toggle to display the most recent price
- Overlapping Labels: Toggle to allow labels to overlap
Style Tab
The Style tab allows you to customize the visual appearance of candlesticks:
Candles Section
- Body: Color selection for candle bodies (green for up, orange for down), with reset option
- Borders: Toggle border visibility and select colors (green for up, orange for down), with reset option
- Wick: Color selection for candle wicks (green for up, orange for down), with reset option
Alerts Tab
The Alerts tab configures how alerts appear and behave on your chart:
- Alerts Lines: Toggle to display alert lines on the chart (enabled by default)
- Inactive Alerts: Toggle to show/hide inactive alerts
- Show Ticker: Toggle to display the ticker symbol for alerts (enabled by default)
Common Settings Features
All tabs include these common controls at the bottom:
- Reset settings: Button to revert all settings in the current tab to default values
- Use as default: Option to apply current settings as the default for new charts
Drawing Tools
- Located in the lower third of the chart (left side)
- Visible on chart interaction
- Contains technical analysis and drawing instruments. Learn more about drawing tools
Bottom Timeline Panel
- Default timeframe display
- Interactive elements appear on hover:
- Current time (adjustable timezone)
- Range selector (1 day to full history)
- Scale controls:
- Percentage mode
- Logarithmic scale
- Regular (auto) scale
- Index to 100
- Reset to default
- Timezone selection
