Yes. You can create multi-conditional stock alerts, forex alerts, crypto alerts, and alerts for every other market supported on the TakeProfit platform.

Yes. Once your custom indicator is live on a chart, you can set an alert on any of its plots or signal lines — the same way you would with any built-in indicator. The alert then runs server-side in the cloud.

Nothing — alerts run entirely in the cloud. They continue monitoring the market and firing notifications regardless of whether you have TakeProfit open.

Yes, you can deploy multi-conditional alerts directly inside the platform with the help of AI via MCP or through the AI Assistant. Prompt your exact components — such as sources, levels, timeframes, session conditions, and OHLCV variables. The AI Assistant or your MCP connection compiles the logic and routes it to your Alerts panel for real-time control.

Each alert in your Alerts panel shows one of five statuses: Active (monitoring and can fire multiple times), Fired (triggered once and closed), Expired (past the set expiration date), Stopped (manually paused), or Error. You can play/pause, edit, duplicate, or restart any alert from the same panel.

There are 13 trigger criteria in total: Moving Up, Moving Down, Moving Up %, Moving Down %, Crossing, Cross Up, Cross Down, Greater Than, Lower Than, Entering Channel, Exiting Channel, Inside Channel, and Outside Channel. Each works on both price and indicator values, allowing you to catch a sudden price change or a new trend, giving you fine-grained control over exactly when an alert fires.

Yes. The webhook system is service-agnostic — you can route JSON payloads to Discord, Slack, IFTTT, Zapier, or any custom server. Each service has its own webhook URL format, and TakeProfit's variables let you customize the payload content per trigger.

Yes. Frequency settings let you choose between three behaviours: fire once and stop, fire once per closed bar, or fire on every trigger event as long as the condition holds. This prevents notification spam while keeping you informed at the cadence that suits your trading style.
