TonyUX EMA Scalper – Buy / Sell (Indie Port)

TonyUX EMA Scalper – Buy / Sell (Indie Port) is a lightweight EMA-based signal indicator adapted for the TakeProfit platform.
It is a direct port of the original TradingView indicator created by user tux, designed to highlight short-term momentum shifts using price interaction with an Exponential Moving Average.

How It Works

The indicator uses three simple components:

1. Exponential Moving Average (EMA)
   A user-defined EMA acts as a dynamic trend reference:
   --Price above EMA → bullish bias
   --Price below EMA → bearish bias
2. Recent High / Low Levels
   The highest and lowest closing prices over the last 8 bars are plotted to provide short-term market context and volatility awareness.
3. Buy / Sell Signals
   Signals appear when:
   --Price crosses the EMA
   --The current candle confirms momentum relative to the previous candle
   --Buy: price crosses the EMA with bullish momentum
   --Sell: price crosses the EMA with bearish momentum

Signals are displayed as labeled markers directly on the chart.

Intended Use

This indicator is best suited for:

• Short-term market analysis
• Momentum confirmation
• Scalping or intraday workflows
• Visual signal confirmation within a broader trading system

It performs best in trending or mildly volatile markets. In sideways conditions, EMA crossings may produce false signals and should be filtered with additional tools.
