Welcome to the ultimate adaptation of the classic trend-following indicator. Inspired by the legendary Supertrend algorithm, this enhanced version brings professional-grade flexibility and precision to your charts.
While most standard ports lock you into a single, hardcoded price source (usually hl2), We completely rebuilt the core calculation engine to give control back to the trader. The Multi-Source feature allows you to calculate the trend based on your preferred price data, making it highly adaptable to any trading strategy, asset, or timeframe.
The Multi-Source Edge
Don't settle for fixed inputs. You can now route the exact price data that drives your trend calculations. Choose from:
hl2 (Default: Median price)
close (Strict closing price action)
hlc3 (Typical price)
ohlc4 (Average of the entire candle)
Key Features
Customizable ATR Engine: Fine-tune your volatility tracking by adjusting the ATR Period and Multiplier. You can also switch the core smoothing algorithm between RMA (Standard) and SMA (Alternate) to match your specific risk profile.
Crystal Clear Signals: Easily identifiable Buy/Sell text labels and trend-flip circles mark the exact moment the momentum shifts. (Signals can be toggled on/off to keep your chart clean).
Dynamic Trend Highlighting: Optional visual background fills between the invisible median line and the active trend bands provide instant, zero-hesitation trend recognition.
Perfect for Trailing Stops: The step-like nature of the bands makes this an exceptional tool for managing dynamic trailing stop-losses.
How to Use It
The indicator draws a continuous support/resistance boundary.
When the price closes above the upper red band, the trend shifts bullish (Green), signaling a potential long entry or a covered short.
When the price closes below the lower green band, the trend shifts bearish (Red), signaling a potential short entry or a long exit.
