The histogram of the fast/slow moving-average difference is shaded in four tones so direction and momentum are both visible at a glance: bright green when it's above zero and rising, dull green when it's above zero but losing steam, dull red when it's below zero but climbing back toward it, and bright red when it's below zero and still falling — letting bullish or bearish bias, and whether that bias is strengthening or fading, be read instantly from color alone.
