# Brokers and exchanges

Trading on TakeProfit always runs through a broker or exchange account that you connect yourself — TakeProfit is the interface, your venue holds the funds and executes the orders. Two venues are live today, each covering a different asset class.

## What differs between the two

Bybit is integrated into TakeProfit's own trading stack: you place orders from the [Order form](/docs/guide/trading/order-form), drag levels [directly on the chart](/docs/guide/trading/chart-trading), and track equity and positions in the [Account widget](/docs/guide/trading/account-tracking).

Lime is a third-party integration: the Lime Order and Lime Portfolio widgets are built and maintained by Lime Trading, so their interface and order handling follow Lime's own rules.
