# Utility Tools

These essential utilities enhance your drawing experience, making it easier to create precise, organized, and consistent technical analysis on your charts.

## Magnet Mode

Magnet Mode helps your drawing tools snap precisely to important price points, ensuring accurate placement of trendlines, patterns, and other drawings.

### How to Use

* **Standard Magnet:** Click the magnet icon in the drawing toolbar
* **Strong Magnet:** Hold Cmd/Ctrl while drawing
* **Temporary Activation:** Hold Cmd/Ctrl at any time for quick snapping

### Magnet Strength Levels

* **Regular Magnet:** Snaps to significant price levels (highs, lows)
* **Strong Magnet:** Snaps to every OHLC value of each bar
  * Open, High, Low, Close prices
  * Ensures ultra-precise placement

### Practical Benefits

* Create perfectly aligned trendlines
* Place Fibonacci tools exactly on swing highs/lows
* Draw support/resistance levels with precision
* Ensure pattern measurements are exact
* Eliminate small errors in manual placement

## Hide/Show Tool

The Hide/Show tool allows you to temporarily conceal drawings without deleting them, reducing chart clutter while keeping your analysis intact.

### How to Use

* **Hide All Drawings:** Cmd/Ctrl + H
* **Show/Hide Individual:** Select drawing and toggle visibility in properties
* **Toggle Groups:** Control visibility of groups of related drawings

## Sync Tool

The Sync tool allows drawings to be synchronized across multiple charts, timeframes, or workspaces, ensuring consistent analysis.

### Synchronization Levels

* **Global:** Sync across all charts and workspaces
* **Workspace:** Sync only within current workspace
* **Channel:** Sync between linked charts
* **Local:** No synchronization (default)

* View the same support/resistance levels on different charts
* Update drawings in multiple places with one edit

## Lock Tool

The Lock feature prevents accidental movement or modification of your drawings, preserving your careful analysis.

### How to Use

* **Lock Drawing:** Select drawing and click lock icon (or Cmd/Ctrl + L)
* **Unlock Drawing:** Select locked drawing and click unlock icon
* **Lock Multiple:** Select multiple drawings to lock together

### When to Use

* After completing precise analysis
* For important support/resistance levels
* When sharing workspaces with others
* To prevent accidental changes during active trading
* For drawings you reference frequently

## Favorites Tool

The Favorites feature allows you to save frequently used drawing configurations for quick access.

### How to Use

* **Save as Favorite:** Configure drawing, then click star icon
* **Access Favorites:** Click favorites menu in drawing toolbar
* **Apply to New Drawing:** Select favorite before creating new drawing

### Practical Applications

* Save custom Fibonacci levels

* Maintain consistent drawing styles
* Quick access to complex pattern templates

## Remove All Drawings

The Remove All feature allows you to quickly delete all drawing objects from your chart at once.
How to Use:

* Click the trash icon in the drawing toolbar
* Select "Delete all drawings" from the popup menu
* All drawing objects will be removed, including locked ones

### Important Notes

This action can be undone (click the Back icon in the top chart panel or press Ctrl + Z)
Use with caution as it removes all drawing objects at once
Provides a quick way to clear your chart and start fresh
