1. Click "Add widgets" in the top right corner
2. Select the widget you want
3. Drag and drop it into your workspace

<Note>If you're using a template, charts may already be present. The process for adding new charts remains the same whether you're working with a template or starting from scratch.</Note>

## Moving and Removing Widgets

Find the six vertical dots icon in the upper right corner of any widget. Click on this icon and hold to drag the widget.
Drag it to the new location:

/>

* Click and drag any widget border
* Widget display automatically adjusts to new dimensions.

## Widget Linking

Widget linking lets you connect multiple widgets for synchronized analysis and efficient workspace management. Link widgets to analyze instruments across different timeframes, drawings or with various indicators simultaneously. Organize complex analysis setups while maintaining clear visual separation between instrument groups.

### How to Link Widgets

**Linking** groups widgets into **channels** labeled **1–4**.\
Each channel has its **own color** for quick recognition (e.g., *1 = pink, 2 = blue, 3 = lime, 4 = cyan*).

<video
  autoPlay
  muted
  loop
  playsInline
  className="w-full rounded-2xl"
  style={{
border: "1.9px solid rgba(179, 200, 224, 0.08)",
objectFit: "fill",
display: "block"
}}
  src="https://mintcdn.com/takeprofit-a5dc0462/woVtZR6M8syJd88k/images/guide/platform/2.5.2_Linking_Widgets.mp4?fit=max&auto=format&n=woVtZR6M8syJd88k&q=85&s=cfcc46d734621ac0dd567a7d1572fd8d"
  data-path="images/guide/platform/2.5.2_Linking_Widgets.mp4"
/>

* **Widgets link only with the same number.**\
  *1 links with 1, 2 with 2, 3 with 3, 4 with 4.*
* The **color is fixed to the number** and used for visual clarity.
* The **“–” (minus)** option means **Unlinked**.

### Sync Controls

Choose exactly which data a channel should share:

* **Symbol** — **on by default**. Changing a symbol in any widget updates all widgets in the channel.

  playsInline
  className="w-full rounded-2xl"
  style={{
border: "1.9px solid rgba(179, 200, 224, 0.08)",
objectFit: "fill",
display: "block"
}}

  data-path="images/guide/platform/2.5.3_Linking_Symbol.mp4"
/>

* **Crosshair** — Show the crosshair on every linked chart at the same date and price, snapping to the closest available coordinates so you can compare price action across views. Each series' value appears next to its pill.

  data-path="images/guide/platform/2.5.3.1_Linking_Crosshair.mp4"
/>

* **Timeframe** — Keep views aligned across charts.

<video

  loop
  playsInline
  className="w-full rounded-2xl"
  style={{
border: "1.9px solid rgba(179, 200, 224, 0.08)",

  data-path="images/guide/platform/2.5.3.2_Linking_Timeframe.mp4"
/>

* **Date Range** — Keep the visible date range in sync across the channel. When you scroll, zoom, or change the date range on one chart, the linked charts update automatically.

#### Single Instrument Analysis

* Connect multiple charts of the same instrument
* View different timeframes simultaneously
* Use separate drawing tools and indicators
* Setup: Select the same linking number for all widgets.

#### Multiple Instrument Analysis

* Create separate chart groups for different instruments
* Assign unique numbers to each instrument group
* Switch between linked groups by clicking any widget
* Maintain independent analysis for each group.
